My 6 year old LOVES this app -- but a few fixes would make it perfect!

I purchased this app to help my 6 year old learn the layout of keys on the keyboard. I wasnt so concerned about "proper" typing technique at this point, so I actively didnt want something like the Mavis Beacon products. Arcade Typing Tutor is FANTASTIC! He loves playing it, and is steadily learning where certain keys are, etc… His enthusiasm for learning typing skills is credited directly to this app. I purchased a few other typing apps at the same time, and can easily say after comparing a few of them that Arcade Typing Tutor is excellent for what it does.

The graphics are fantastic, and my son especially loves the sound effects. You have done a phenominal job with this app, and I would strongly encourage anyone with a young learner to purchase this app without hesitation.

A few suggestions to make this app PERFECT:
(1) More control over the words and speed -- It would be helpful if you could set the words per minute lower than 15wpm. For a 6 year old, the words just come much too quickly. My son became somewhat frustrated when he began falling too far behind, mostly because the words were coming too fast. It would also be nice if there was an option to limit the number of letters in a word so that I could keep the words at 4 letters or less (or 5, or 6, etc…)
(2) Custom word lists -- It would be incredible if you could add a feature that allowed parents to add custom word lists to the app. I would use it to populate a list of his high-frequency words from school, and would also use it to reinforce some of the reading words were working on.
(3) Different settings -- I dont think my son is tired of the outer space theme yet, but it would do you well to add a few different settings.

This program really has some outstanding features, and incredible potential. Thank you so very much!
